Who We Are
This notice explains how DAAKYI LLC (United States), DAAKYI Secure Africa (Ghana) and DAAKYI Secure GR (United Arab Emirates), together “DAAKYI”, “we”, “us” handle personal information collected through daakyi.com. DAAKYI operates through three entities:
- DAAKYI LLC (United States): 4606 FM 1960 Suite 211, Houston, Texas 77069
- DAAKYI Secure Africa (Ghana): 14 Griddle Street, Teshie-Nungua, Accra · GZ099-0706
- DAAKYI Secure GR (United Arab Emirates): Rolex Towers, 9th Floor, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai
The DAAKYI entity you deal with in your region is responsible for your information. You can contact any of them at info@daakyi.com.
Information We Collect and Why
Inquiries. When you use the contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, work email, organization and message, and, if you choose to add them, your role, country, region, phone number, inquiry type and service interest. We also record the page you sent the inquiry from and your consent. We use this information to respond to you and to route your inquiry to the right DAAKYI team.
Careers applications. If you apply for a role, we collect the information in your application and the CV you upload (PDF or Word, up to 5 MB). CVs are stored in secure cloud storage and are available only to authorized DAAKYI staff who review applications.
Report downloads. Reports and other resources can be downloaded without giving us any personal information. We count downloads as part of our anonymous site statistics.
Site statistics. We measure page views, downloads and clicks on calls to action with our own first-party analytics. These analytics set no cookies and store no raw IP address. Each visit is represented by a one-way hashed identifier that combines a secret value, the date, your IP address and your browser type, and that changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow you over time. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no statistics are recorded for your visit.
Security and abuse prevention. To protect the contact and upload forms from abuse, we briefly keep the IP address of each submission, for a short time limit only, and then delete it automatically. Our infrastructure and hosting providers may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the website securely and protect it against attacks and automated abuse.
Staff console. Authorized DAAKYI staff sign in to a private content and inquiry console with their Google account. We process their name, email address and activity in the console to secure it and to keep an audit trail. Public visitors cannot sign in.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on:
- Your consent, which you give when you submit the contact form;
- Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, such as responding to a request for a proposal or considering your job application;
- Our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the website and in understanding how it is used, using privacy-protective methods; and
- Compliance with legal obligations that apply to us.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing it does not affect processing that took place before you did so.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We share personal information only with the infrastructure and hosting providers that run this website and store its data on our behalf. They act on our instructions and may not use the information for their own purposes. Within DAAKYI, information is available only to the teams that need it, for example to respond to your inquiry. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of DAAKYI, our clients or others.
International Transfers
DAAKYI operates from the United States, Ghana and the United Arab Emirates, and our infrastructure and hosting providers may process information in other countries. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take the steps that applicable law requires to keep it protected.
How We Protect Information
We protect personal information with technical and organizational measures. These include encrypted connections, access controls, signed-in and audited staff access, and validation of uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if an incident occurs.
DAAKYI Intelligence (Kasara)
Kasara is an AI assistant on this website. It answers questions using only DAAKYI's published website content and approved reference material, and it always identifies itself as an AI assistant.
What we collect. When you use Kasara we keep the messages you send, Kasara's replies, the page you asked from and any feedback you give. We keep a salted, daily-rotating hash instead of your IP address so we can apply usage limits. Kasara automatically removes items that look like IP addresses, passwords or keys before a message is processed or stored. Please do not share confidential or sensitive information in the chat.
How it is processed. To generate an answer, your message and relevant passages from our published content are sent to an AI model provider that processes them on our behalf. Your conversations are not used to train AI models.
Talking to a person. If you choose “Talk to a person” and click “Send to DAAKYI”, the details you review and the conversation transcript are attached to your inquiry and handled like any other inquiry. Nothing is sent to our team until you click that button.
Inquiry triage. When you send us an inquiry through any form, an AI tool prepares a short internal summary and priority suggestion for our staff. A member of staff reviews it, and it does not change how your inquiry is handled unless they accept it.
Readiness self-check. If you use the Cyber Readiness Self-Check, we store your answers, the resulting levels, the sector you chose (if any), the page you came from, a salted daily hash instead of your IP address and the time. We do not ask for your name or email to show results. These records are anonymous and are deleted automatically after the same retention period as Kasara conversations. If you choose “Talk to a specialist” and click “Send to DAAKYI”, your results are attached to your inquiry.
Solution briefs. If you use the Solution Brief Builder, we store the details you enter (with sensitive items removed) and the generated brief for 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. If you create a private link, anyone with that link can view the brief until it expires after 30 days; private briefs are not indexed by search engines, our site search or Kasara.
How long we keep it. Kasara conversations are deleted automatically after 90 days unless they form part of an inquiry you sent. Kasara stores nothing in your browser; the conversation lasts only while the page is open.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected, and to meet our legal, accounting and reporting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- ask us to transfer your information to you or another organization; and
- withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@daakyi.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Applicable Laws
We handle personal information in line with the data protection laws that apply to our activities. These include the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018, Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), and the state privacy laws of the United States, where they apply.
Children
This website is not directed at children. No one under the age of 18 should submit information to us through it.
